About Heineken
Heineken
Heineken is a Dutch brewing company founded in 1864 in Amsterdam by Gerard Adriaan Heineken, who acquired the De Hooiberg (the Haystack) brewery at the age of 22. The company was renamed Heineken's Bierbrouwerij Maatschappij in 1873 and began using bottom-fermenting yeast under the supervision of Bavarian brewer Wilhelm Feltmann.
In 1886, the chemist Hartog Elion, a pupil of Louis Pasteur, developed the proprietary Heineken A-yeast still used in production today. The original Amsterdam brewery, closed in 1988, is now the Heineken Experience museum. Heineken N.V. operates more than 165 breweries in over 70 countries, including the brands Amstel, Birra Moretti and Affligem.
The 3D Model Unity catalog of Heineken includes high-precision NURBS models built for Rhinoceros 3D, with native rendering profiles for V-Ray, KeyShot and Corona, suitable for retail, packaging and hospitality visualization projects.
