Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina
Michele De Lucchi (Italian architect and designer, born in Ferrara in 1951) and Giancarlo Fassina (Italian designer) co-designed the Tolomeo lamp for Artemide in 1987, awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1989 and now part of the permanent collection of the MoMA New York.
De Lucchi was a member of the Memphis Group and has worked extensively as architect and designer for Olivetti, Alessi, Vitra and Artemide. Fassina has been a long-standing collaborator of the Artemide design office.
