Gerrit Rietveld
Gerrit Rietveld (1888-1964) was a Dutch architect and furniture designer, and a prominent member of the De Stijl art movement. He is most famous for his design of the Rietveld Schröder House, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Utrecht, Netherlands. Rietveld was known for his innovative and minimalist designs, which were characterized by the use of primary colors, geometric forms, and an emphasis on functionality. He was a pioneer of modernist architecture and design, and his work has had a significant influence on the development of 20th century design.
