Alessi

Alessi is the Italian design factory founded in 1921 in Crusinallo, Piedmont, by Giovanni Alessi, recognised internationally as a benchmark of design-driven kitchenware and home accessories. The brand collaborates with hundreds of designers and architects including Achille Castiglioni, Ettore Sottsass, Aldo Rossi, Philippe Starck, Michael Graves, Alessandro Mendini and Stefano Giovannoni.

Alessi products — from the 9090 espresso maker by Richard Sapper to the Juicy Salif lemon squeezer by Philippe Starck and the Tea & Coffee Towers project — are reference points of post-war Italian design and are featured in the permanent collections of MoMA New York, the V&A and the Centre Pompidou.
